Fathers Day Week

For Fathers Day I wanted to try really hard to make sure to show David how much we love and appreciate everything he does for us on a daily basis.  We started off by buying him a fishing license and sending him fishing on Monday.  On Thursday we went camping which I will post another day.  Then on Friday we went to Herms for lunch.

The girls, David and Jeff went to How to Train Your Dragon 2 Friday night.  I won tickets and so it was free which made it even better!  On Saturday we went to the Joy BBQ and had fun seeing all of our extended family.  Jeff grabbed 5 ties and we went to Krispy Kreme to get 5 dozen free donuts in exchange for the ties. We then went to Grandpa Greens for a while in the afternoon and then to another Joy BBQ with just the immediate family.
Fathers Day was spend lounging around, watching Almost Heroes and launching rockets.
Chloe and Naomi joined us as well

The girls saved some caterpillars from the camping trip so they could send them up into space in their rockets

A rocket went over the fence of course, but what is more appropriate than a rocket rescue on Fathers Day?
(The next two pictures are from weeks prior while the girls were helping prime and paint their rockets)

We had a lot of fun all week and I hope that somehow during the week David was able to feel some small portion of the love we have for him.  We are so incredibly blessed to have such a great man at the head of our home, taking care of us and teaching the girls how they should expect to be treated.  The girls and I love you so much David!
