Some of you know that we are doing a 'family fun week' this week before our lives get hectic with school. We started the week off by going to the fair. The girls had a ton of fun! First we went to see what ribbons David and I won.
David's painting and my wall hanging won first place! While we were in the building they played a game and we won a free picture frame. Which was one of two prizes we won that day. I played a text trivia game and was one of the first 15 participants to win a free t-shirt.
We then let the girls play a few games. Kadence and Shelby fished at the fishpond and then Kadence did the bean bag toss. She actually got a few in which was unexpected.
Up next we headed to the animals. Shelby was in awe, and Kadence was nervous as always. Shelby tried to feed the duck she had won to the goat and the cup she won to the pigs. Kadence didn't want anything to do with the pigs because their 'oink' scared her.
We made our way over to the baby animals where we had a goat let Shelby touch it....and then proceeded to try and eat our stroller. Kadence was VERY scared by the goat at first, and toward the end thought it was pretty funny. Shelby thought the whole thing was funny.
We concluded the day by watching a movie and eating popcicles.
