We look forward to this day every year and were so excited to celebrate! I had actually not put much thought into it until the week of which was horrible. Luckily I get free 2 day shipping from birthday express so we were able to get some Dr Seuss themed items in time for our party. It was a day full of treats, fun and of course a lot of reading! I do almost the exact same treats every year with a little difference. This year I did truffula tree cupcakes and they turned out pretty good. That is except for the fact that adding the cotton candy well in advance made it so that when we went to eat them the cotton candy had shrunk to a sticky sugar clump. Oh well the girls thought they were great while they looked like truffula trees. Jeff joined us again this year and he's always a good sport about eating our nasty green eggs and ham hash.
